Senior Bioinformatics Scientist:

About The Position

We’re looking for a Bioinformatician to join a cross-functional data team dedicated to powering AI-driven oncology solutions. You will design and implement scalable pipelines to integrate and analyse high-dimensional public datasets and work closely with data scientists to power predictive models of drug response.

Responsibilities

  • Curate and optimize diverse large-scale datasets, including genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data.
  • Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end, scalable pipelines for data extraction, normalization, validation, and quality control.
  • Integrate multi-modal data (including omics, networks, and textual) into reproducible data processing and analysis frameworks to feed downstream AI models.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with clinicians, data scientists, and software engineers to define data requirements, ensure completeness, and guide interpretation.
  • Oversee the preparation and documentation of structured datasets tailored for advanced analytical and AI-driven applications.


Requirements

  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in working with clinical omics data (including genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics).
  • Solid understanding of biological data standards and ontologies.
  • Expert proficiency in Python/R and bioinformatics tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with processing large-scale omics data in cloud or HPC environments - advantage.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML frameworks - advantage.
